| High quality hovercraft with personalized customer service |
The hovercraft maintenance procedures on our web page are an introductory guide and not a complete set of maintenance instructions. It is important to read the Maintenance section in the Operator's manual which is more detailed and is specific to each hovercraft model.
For Maintenance and Operator's manual prices please see the Training section.

Description: The trailer is a dual axle, tilt design with rubber torsion suspension and wide base tires. Hydraulic surge brakes or electric brakes are optional and should be ordered if required by law. The trailer is tilted by a manual hydraulic device mounted on the tongue. The bed is fitted with rollers and angled sideboards to facilitate loading and unloading. The electric winch is powered from the towing vehicle. Operation: The safety chain and the tilt plunger must be released before operating the tilt jack. When flying the craft off the trailer bed from the rapid deployment position the tilt plunger must be free of the bed and the bed will tilt without jacking; however, the bed should be in the raised position before winching the craft on backwards or flying the craft on forwards. Suspension: The rubber torsion suspension requires no maintenance. Tire pressure is 70 psi and both wheels and tires require normal vehicle care and maintenance. Bearings may be greased by removing the hub dust caps. Brakes are adjusted and bled as per the brake system manual. Rollers: The galvanized rollers are mounted in Delrin bearings which require no maintenance except to check that they turn freely. Brake System: See manufacturer’s manual supplied. Winch: See manufacturer’s manual supplied.
Tilt
System: The US
Jack pump can be removed from the trailer frame to add
hydraulic oil. The operating cylinder and scissor
linkage should be oiled monthly. |
